خارهاي باله پشتي (کل) : 10; شعاع نرم باله پشتي (کل) : 30 - 31; مهره ها: 25. Weakly differentiated teeth on the lower jaw. First dorsal fin spines usually IX, dorsal fin soft rays 30-31, pectoral fin rays usually 19, lower gill rakers usually 11, ctenoid scales on the anterior half of the body, and swim bladder appendages weakly enveloping the bladder.
