Africa: Pool Malebo and central Congo River basin in Democratic Republic of the Congo and Republic of Congo, including the middle Congo River, Lukenie, lakes Mai Ndombe and Tumba, Ruki drainage (Ref. 42032), Likouala-aux-Herbes (Ref. 44840) and lower Lomami (Ref. 42032, 106245). Reports from the Ogowe (Ref. 5133) and coastal basins in Republic of Congo (Ref. 42032) unconfirmed in Ref. 80290; report from Itimbiri River (Ref. 42032) is based on misidentified specimens (E. Decru, pers. comm.).
