Adult biology: | Found inshore (Ref. 4696). Up to depth of 230 m (Ref. 04696) but from 322-337 in the eastern Ionian Sea (Ref. 56504). | |||
Diagnosis: | At 5 mm a dorsal melanophore at 2/3 of body, ventrally of the gorge 6-8 big chromatophores to the anus and 7 from anus to the peduncle caudal. Number of finrays: 1st D 6; 2nd D 13-14; A 13-14. At 10 mm some small chromatophores on the caudal fin. . See also LARVAE table. | |||
