Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Only known by the original description from Büyük Menderes and two more specimens from the Bafa Gölü in Southwestern Anatolia (Ref. 33550). Threatened due to water abstraction (Ref. 26100).
