Environment:  demersal; marine
Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: Pacific Grove in central California, USA to northern Baja California in Mexico, including Guadalupe Island (off northern central Baja California).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Rests on kelp, usually high up in kelp canopy at depths to about 12 m. Feeds on small crustaceans.
