| Biology: | The type locality is a small stream. The water at the type locality was clear with a moderate to swift current; substrate was gravel. The only other species collected at this locality was Schistura macrotaenia (Yang, 1990). From stomach content analysis, specimens contained mainly aquatic plants and a few aquatic insects. | |||
