Max. size:  15 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  pelagic-neritic; marine
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: Endemic to southern Australia and Tasmania.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Adults occur inshore near reefs (Ref. 7300). Eggs are guarded by the male parent (Ref. 205).
