Environment:  demersal; marine
Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: Tokyo Bay to Tosa Bay in Japan.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 11-13; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 10-11. Body without prickles. Dull orange with many small black spots dorsally; white ventrally (Ref. 559).
Biology: 
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 10 June 2011 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  poisonous to eat
