Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 282 - 357 m
Distribution:  Western Central Pacific: Philippines. Eastern Central Pacific: off Hawaii.
Diagnosis:  With 9 abdominal vertebrae; ocular side yellowish-brown with freckled or mottled appearance and blind side whitish or yellowish without freckled pattern (Ref. 35979).
Biology:  Benthic on mud (Ref. 58302).
IUCN Red List Status: Data deficient (DD); Date assessed: 29 October 2020 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
