Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: Gulf of California to Peru.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 85-97; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 71-83; Vertebrae: 48-52
Biology:  Probably taken as bycatch of trawl fisheries (Ref. 9294).
