Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 55 - 102 m
Distribution:  Eastern Central Atlantic: endemic around Cape Verde.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in shelf waters (Ref. 4426). Oviparous (Ref. 50449). Eggs have horn-like projections on the shell (Ref. 205).
IUCN Red List Status: Data deficient (DD); Date assessed: 04 August 2020 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
