Environment:  demersal; freshwater, non-migratory
Distribution:  Asia: Japan. Lanlocked populations are found in Ôno River, the Niyodo River, the Inabe River, the Ibi River, the Sakawa River, and the Hananuki River (Ref. 79594).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Landlocked populations are found in rivers (Ref. 79594).
