Distribution:  Africa: upper Lualaba River, in swamps and pools near Bukama and Lake Upemba, Democratic Republic of the Congo (Ref. 59344).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Known only from temporary pools and swamps (Ref. 3788, 59344). Bottom spawner (Ref. 27139).
IUCN Red List Status: Vulnerable (VU); Date assessed: 20 October 2018 (B1ab(iii,iv)) Ref. (130435)
