Coloration: oblique stripe does not extend to the caudal peduncle; caudal spot clearly visible in some specimens (Ref. 55954). | |||
Biology: | Has been observed over sand. Preys on small fish, mainly cichlids, and on invertebrates collected from the sand (Ref. 5595). | |||
