Diagnosis: | Dorsal spines (total): 3-3; Dorsal soft rays (total): 5-6; Anal spines: 6-6; Anal soft rays: 9-11. Back and lower lobe of caudal fin dark (Ref. 4967). | |||
Biology: | Found in fast-flowing rivers in the Ruwenzori area (Ref. 83445), with upper limit of 5500 feet (Ref. 4903). Inhabits the headwaters of rivers at high altitudes (Ref. 4967). | |||
