Biology: | Inhabits sheltered gulfs and bays where the substrate is either soft mud or sand and shingle. A few specimens were from exposed beaches and from deeper water (10.5-12 m) near off-shore islands (Ref. 4983). Feeds on fishes and insects (Ref. 558). | |||
