Biology: | Inhabits exposed sandy beaches (Ref. 4983). The stomach and intestinal contents of the specimens which were examined consisted of fine sand grains, bottom detritus (incl. fragments of plant epidermis and diatom frustules), some Cladocera, and insect larvae (Ref. 558). | |||
