Max. size:  4 cm SL (male/unsexed); max. reported age: 3 years
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  North America: Río Sonoyta/Quitobaquito Springs.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  An omnivore feeding on plants, insect larvae and nymphs, water mites, ostracods, their own eggs, sponge, mollusc eggs and some other organisms (Ref. 58358). Migratory behaviour is undetermined (Ref. 126106).
