Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 15 - 30 m
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: southern Oman and Socotra Archi.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Collected from rocky bottom, near sand and rubble (Ref. 12718) and apparently has preference for deeper habitats (15-30 m), at lower reef slopes and bases (Ref. 88695).
IUCN Red List Status: Data deficient (DD); Date assessed: 28 June 2018 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
