Diagnosis: | Dorsal soft rays (total): 100-108; Anal soft rays: 78-83. Body without a large dark spot posteriorly on the base both the dorsal and anal fins (Ref 42535). | |||
Biology: | Inhabits coral-sand bottoms (Ref. 9824, 48637) and algae-reef substrates in coastal bays to deep offshore (Ref. 48637). Feeds on benthic animals (Ref. 9824). | |||
